For years, “beachnik” music audiences as well as major music journalists, have bemoaned the shortage of new, original, top quality Polynesian-esque music. Where is our next Santo and Johnny? Who can fill the shoes of Les Baxter? Well, moan no more! From the frozen depths of upstate New York have emerged the Swingin’ Palms. At luaus and beach parties all along the mighty Hudson River, these lads have had hipsters and flipsters swaying to their exotic beat.

Join Graham, Ian, Don and Pete. Just give a listen to their original melodies - the up-tempo surf-influenced beat of “Cockeyed,” the jazzy “Over the Moon,” the mesmerizing dream-like rhythms of “Asleep at the Shore,” or the captivating “Entrada,” evocative of the classical “Bolero” of Maurice Ravel.
